Australia Squad For ICC T20 World Cup 2024
The T20 World Cup in 2024 will be hosted by West Indies and America. The performance of all participating teams will be interesting to watch. The ICC Board has initiated preparations for the tournament, scheduled to take place from June 4 to June 30, 2024, with matches in both the West Indies and the United States. The tournament will feature a total of 20 teams, organized into four groups of five teams each.
Ben Dwarshuis and spinner Chris Green from NSW will join the squad in Raipur for the fourth match. Green is expected to make his international debut in either Raipur or the series-ending match in Bengaluru. As the Sydney Thunder’s full-time captain, Green brings extensive experience from 190 T20 matches across various leagues, including the IPL, Pakistan, the Caribbean, the UK, and the Big Bash. He has recently showcased his skills as a key player for the NSW Blues in domestic one-day and first-class cricket.
