Prithvi Shaw, a 25-year-old Indian cricketer, represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed opening batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. Shaw began his domestic cricket career with Mumbai in January 2017 and made his international debut for the Indian team in 2018. He is involved in all formats of domestic and international cricket, playing for India in international matches and for Delhi Capitals in the IPL.

In February 2021, he smashed an unbeaten double-century (227* off 152) in a Vijay Hazare Trophy match against Pondicherry, setting a new record for the highest individual score in the history of the competition.
