The Gujarat Titans are a professional cricket team based in Gujarat, India. They compete in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in India. The team is owned by the Kansagra family, who also own the Kansagra University in Gujarat.
The Gujarat Titans were introduced to the IPL in 2016 as one of two new teams, along with the Rising Pune Supergiants. However, the team was only active for one season before being dissolved and replaced by the returning Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals in 2018.
Skipper Hardik Pandya will aim to defend the title in the upcoming 16th season of the tournament. The 2024 IPL returns to the traditional home-and-away format after the COVID-19 pandemic forced changes in the tournament for the last three years. The Titans will play their home games at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

A random draw will divide ten teams into two groups of five each. Each team will play 14 matches in the group stage, twice against their group opponents and once against the other group teams. Teams will earn 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw or no result, and no points for a loss. The playoffs will comprise four matches, including Qualifier 1 between the top two teams, Eliminator between the third and fourth-placed teams, Qualifier 2 between the losing team of Qualifier 1 and the winner of Eliminator, and the Final between the winners of Qualifiers 1 and 2.
